This unit will alert you by flashing any lamp that is plugged into its Pluglet. The modern case has a lite touch switch which will allow you to use the lamp for signaling as well as room lighting. Your lamp should be in the on position at all times, and you can turn your lamp on and off with the switch located on the SA-201 receiver. When a signal is received from one of our signaling devices your lamp will flash whether the light is on or off. The unit also has a small light to remind you to turn on your lamp.
